Venezuela's interim president Delcy Rodriguez has replaced the country's senior military commanders a day after she brought in a new defence minister.

It's the latest change at the top of the Venezuelan establishment since the United States military captured the former leader, Nicolas Maduro in January. Olivia Noon reports.

Ms Rodriguez, who previously served as Venezuela's vice president, has been cooperating with President Trump ever since the U.S. ousted her predecessor.

She was backed by the White House for the position and faces the challenge of uniting her country while trying to keep both Washington and those loyal to Mr. Maduro on side.
